Tree Planting

Today Room 5 and Room 3 buddied up to go tree planting. We walked together to Monaco (by the cycle way) and worked in pairs to plant many native trees. It was hard work as the ground was a bit hard and stony, but everyone was very proud of their efforts at the end. Some pairs planted up to 5 trees! To thank us, Steve and John from NELMAC gave us all a small Kowhai tree to plant at home. Thank you to Janice and the parents who came and gave us a hand :)

  1. Great to see you all planting native trees, especially as it must have been very hard work! Nice that you were all given a Kowhai tree to take home to plant in your gardens as well. It's a great photo of Joseph-well done everyone. Adam + Joseph's Nan & Grandad in UK
