Happy Roald Dahl Day!

A big thank you to Keryn and Denver for making us yummy peach muffins for Roald Dahl day today. 13th September is Roald Dahl's birthday and it is also the day the world celebrates this amazing author. We love Roald Dahl books and we certainly loved our peach muffins!

Sneak Peek!

Here is a sneak preview of the Tui bird masks that Room 5 are creating for the Nelson Wearable Mask Parade on the last day of this term. A big thank you to Cheryl (who traced and cut out 22 pairs of bird bodies and 22 tails) and Karen (who custom made 22 helmets). This week we will begin crayoning and dying our beautiful birds.

Lion Masks

Our lion masks are looking ferocious! They are made using paper plates, paint, vivid markers, shredded paper and glue. They need 2 or more layers of paper on the mane to look furry. We will post new pictures of the finished masks soon.
