Here is a sneak preview of the Tui bird masks that Room 5 are creating for the Nelson Wearable Mask Parade on the last day of this term. A big thank you to Cheryl (who traced and cut out 22 pairs of bird bodies and 22 tails) and Karen (who custom made 22 helmets). This week we will begin crayoning and dying our beautiful birds.
These masks look amazing. We will share our Pukeko masks with you when they are finished. Mrs G and Room 4 kids
